Grener
Trentino Cabernet DOC Reserve
Area of origin: Piana Rotaliana - locality "Casetta"
Label: it is the reproduction of a xylography performed by Remo Wolf, famous artist of Trento. On the left the attractive castle of Mezzocorona, on the right, the symbol of the imposing nature of these mountains, the Sassolungo of the Val Gardena.
At the centre a marvellous bunch of grapes stands out, of which every grape is a small sun. The sun is a monument of union between the Val Gardena and the Piana Rotaliana and element of vivification of the fruit from which this excellent red wine is obtained.
Name: Grener derives from the mispronounced dialect of Grödner with which the inhabitants of Mezzocorona underlined the Val Gardena origin of the paternal grandmother of the current owners, who still today maintain such nickname
Vineyard: the cultivation system is the traditional pergola of Trento. However, a short and discreet pruning and thinning of the bunches of grapes halve the production which would otherwise flourish
